Dress Code
Boys:
Clothes must be neat and clean, not ripped, patched, or written on. Pants are to be worn properly, with the waistband at the waist, not oversized or over length. Inseam must be a comfortable full length of the leg but must not drag on the floor. Shirts must have collars. Shoes or sneakers are acceptable, laced, with socks. Tee-shirts, jeans, or shorts are permitted only on dress-down days.
Hair must be neatly groomed, off the collar and off the ears. Hair must not be held in pony tails, or held by any artificial means. Two tone hair or mixed colors are not permitted. Boys must be clean shaven. Mohawks, modified Mohawks or tails are not allowed. However, crew cuts or flat tops are acceptable. Earrings, chains, nail polish, make-up, clown style clothing or anything that is designed to draw special attention are not permitted.
Collared shirts include:Sweaters, Henleys, Mock Turtlenecks Oxfords, Turtlenecks, and Heavy-Knit Long Sleeve
Girls:
Dresses, skirts-knee length; no spandex. Dresses, shirts and blouses must have sleeves or cover the shoulders, and may not be see-through. Pants or slacks may be worn but must be loose fitting and modest, not ripped, patched, or written on. Shirts, blouses must have collars or be designer in nature and also must be loose fitting and modest. Tee-shirts, jeans, and shorts are permitted only on dress-down days.
Skirts:2 inches above kneecap, 4 inches above crease in back of knee. Slits must not exceed these lengths, Jean skirts permitted.
No sleeveless shirts, even on dressdown days. Shirts under buttondowns must be dress code or shirt must be buttoned
Acceptable Shirts:
Designer knits (thin neckline, tailored) Sweaters, Henleys,
Oxfords, Turtlenecks, Mock Turtlenecks, Heavy-Knit Long Sleeve.
DRESS-DOWN DAYS
Tee-shirts, shorts, sweats, and jeans are permitted within the limits of modesty. Spandex is not permitted. Shorts must have a minimum inseam of 4 inches.
Fleeces allowed first day of fall through first day of spring, dress code required underneath
No hoods, zippers, writing or pictures in center of shirt, or unbuttoned (more than 2 buttons)
No jackets during school, zipper = jacket
Modesty:
Necklines- no lower than 2 inches below clavicle divot
Nothing tight or skin-hugging
No midriff showing, front back, sitting or standing. If, when arms raised above head, skin shows = Code Violation. Wear a tank top beneath and tuck in.
No unnatural-colored hair, camouflage or fatigues, or tattoos. Ear piercings on girls only.
